Temples of Moche (Huacas del sol de la luna)
With many cultural gems in this part of the world, one would be the perfect day tour exploring the ancient sun and moon Huacas, and an insight into the dark and mysterious lives of the Moche people who inhabited Northern Peru from 150 - 700 AD. The temples are well preserved and contain awe-inspiring artwork detailing the lives and practices of the Moche culture, which involved human sacrifice, worship, and war; however also incredible inventions to thrive, beautiful murals and ceramics, and impressive architecture.
The Marinera
The Marinera is Peru's national dance. The impressive dance demonstrates the female dancer dressed in beautiful Peruvian costume and the gallant horse rider showing off, unfolding a flirtatious sand exciting story.
Gastronomy
Traditional Peruvian Ceviche and the Pisco Sour drink are widely available, and make for an excellent fresh lunch out.
